Brigantine Single Family Home Inventory Expected to Increase in Upcoming Months
From July 6, 2021 to July 26, 2021 the number of single family homes on the market in Brigantine increased from 71 to 75.
The Downbeach Team expects the inventory of available homes to continue to increase due to a number of important but unrelated market factors.
As the summer rental season ends we predict more homeowners will take advantage of low inventory and high prices and list their homes for sale.
At the end of July the mortgage forebearance and foreclosure moritoriums end. Fortune Magazine in a July 26, 2021 article predicts these 2 events will add 11% to the inventory of homes for sale.
It remains a seller's market with low inventory but we believe prices will not increase as fast as they had in previous months.
There is still strong demand and so we expect it still to be a competitive market but with more opportunity for non all-cash offers.
