One of the quieter communities on the southern tip of Absecon Island where residents enjoy secluded beaches and jetty’s. Longport is a great escape as a summer home of very tranquil living year round but having the excitement of Ocean City and Atlantic City just a few miles away. There are a few restaurants including a wonderful breakfast place, Ozzies and a great seafood restaurant, Catch with live music featuring a Frank Sinatra crooner! Tennis courts and basketball courts are in the center of town. Summer concert series include everything from a brass quintet to a ukulele performance. Weekly outdoor movies are shown at City Hall and, of course, a farmers market on Saturday mornings in the Summer!
